In My Mailbox explores the contents of my “mailbox” on a weekly basis. I’ll be using this as a book and contest round-up tool to show what I’m getting ready to review. If you would like to participate and have your own “In My Mailbox” post, you can find more information here at The Story Siren.

Bought

I went to the Scholastic Warehouse Sale this week. Check and see if one is near you (everyone), but especially check if you’re a librarian/teacher — books are ridiculously cheap. Most are 50% off. Most of the sale is more MG than true YA, but you do find some YA mixed in. (Like all the books for your state’s high school award…if you live in Illinois, ha.)

My haul (pictured on my new fleece blanket from my first Christmas celebration last night):

“Allie Finkle #4: Stage Fright” by Meg Cabot, “The Thirteenth Child” by Patricia C. Wrede, “Leaving Paradise” by Simone Elkeles, “Gifted: Out of Sight, Out of Mind” by Marilyn Kaye, “Peeled” by Joan Bauer, “Never Slow Dance With a Zombie” by E. Van Lowe, “Every Soul a Star” by Wendy Mass, and “11 Birthdays” by Wendy Mass.

Library Check-Out

“Dragonfly” by Julia Golding.

Completely Unrelated to Books

Glee Volume 2!! (I love this show. SO MUCH.)

So, what’s in your mailbox?

I feel like caressing your books for no apparent reason other than because they are so new lol

Serious wow at that haul! I’m not sure if Glee’s on here but it’s getting so much buzz I really should find out.
