Okay, so I’m ridiculously late in posting these pictures — but at least I’m posting them!
This past month, I had the pleasure of meeting three amazing YA authors — Ally Carter, Kami Garcia, and Margie Stohl.
Ally Carter — February 10th
Ally talked about her newest book, “Heist Society” before taking a ton of audience questions. She was super sweet, and very patient with the tons of teen fans. (As for me, I almost always hang back at signings, and rarely ask questions!)
After a very short wait, I got my book signed by Ally, and also got a copy of “I’d Tell You I’d Love You But Then I’d Have to Kill You” signed for my amazing book-loving 11-year-old cousin.
(My camera sucks at indoor pictures. We had unavoidable blurring.)
Kami Garcia and Margie Stohl — February 24th
I got to the signing late — I went to the wrong location. My local indie has two locations. Whoops?
But I made it! And I came in as Kami was finishing up a reading from their book “Beautiful Creatures.”
Then, Kami and Margie interviewed each other about their writing process. (Which was awesome because the question I’ve seen most asked at author signings? Advice for writers, and about the writing process.)
And then we had a Q&A portion before the signing started.
Some awesome signing pictures:

My awesome signed book, please take note of Gatlin County Library stamp!
Kami and Margie have way more pictures at their blog entry about the signing.
Such awesome fun — I’m so glad that I went to these signings! Next month, I’m going to see John Green, David Levithan, and Ann M. Martin (!!) for sure. I’m super excited!
